Without a price tag,
a god-Poet
kissed the verbs,
caressed the nouns,
SMASHed TO PIECES:
the poem became a car crash.
(rhyme should be castrated at once!)
Castrated penis,
a pen,
a vagina,
an inkwell(?).
Human Body Parts
Talking to Each Other
in the Refrigerator
Orgy! Orgy! Orgy!
Eat the audience!
ORGY! ORGY! ORGY!

AIDS!
(rhyme should be castrated at once!)
Take the blood and semen,
urinate on their doorsteps,
and never use the same toilet bowl twice!

Nice. What's brought on this sudden attack of poetics?

Thanks. I appreciate people who make me laugh, for whatever reason, so this is more of a remembering Wolf poem than an attack on poetics. I don't think Wolf kept up with literature and that's why he attacked it so much. He was too busy with Breton to realize there were writers like Beckett, Robbe-Grillet, Barthelme, Perec etc.
Whatever the quality of his work, I'm just glad he has writing as an outlet.
  What ever happened to Wolf? But you captured him well.
It seems wolf has his own website and, if we can believe it, has sold at least two books which have been reviewed. The reviews are what you might expect.

Wolf is doing it his way, and that is the project of art.

I was like blp, wondering what the sudden attack was all about.
But anyhow, about that Larsen book, I guess each to his own....

attack of, not on. ;)

The guy is passionate and I admire that. I'm not sure if his work will be read, but I would definitely read a book written about him. He has the stuff of a protagonist.

I looked through the reviewers history and the commented on a lot of underground stuff and it's good to know people are giving new writers a chance on amazon. I mean the reviewer had to read the excerpt before the purchase.

I didn't know of Wolf Larson until now, but I'm glad I do now.
I enjoyed the poem, which doesn't totaly need a Larsonist to appreciate the fire.
I'm new to Wolf Larsen too.
I found this, which is great:

:DThanks.
I don't think anybody could as big a fan as Larsen himself, but I'm always happy to help others find writers they may enjoy, whether or not I enjoy him myself.;)
Someone said, on one of his threads, if you've read one of his works you've read them all and I ... totally agree.
He was once a Lit-Net member Larsen's Threads (http://www.online-literature.com/forums/search.php?searchid=954369)
I'm new to Wolf Larsen too.

He has his moments where he can put two words together and provoke an image, but there a few moments of that. His excessive use of 'I's, 'you's and 'then's impede any momentum he may have achieved. He needs editor ... and substance. He has good intentions, I think, but his 'revolution' gets in his way. Most of his work is like Gregor Samsa waking to find himself transformed into a poem.
I'm curious to see what you think of his other works, there's a link in this post.

I agree that Wolf is definitely a character, but from what I saw of him he really tried going for broke with his writing and was very serious about the craft in trying to say something new and different. And what is this speel above about him "needing editor" and "excessive use of I's" and "impeding any momentum"? I do see you're trying to tone it down but it's still all done in that smiling-elbowing-the-next-guy-haha-presumptuous way. And from what I've seen of your work you have your own writing problems. We all do. I think you're making a mockery out the guy, first with your poem and now the follow-up commentary. I just don't think he'd appreciate it or you'd appreciate it if I did it to you.

If you guys are so intersted in Wolf's work, you can go through his various posts here on lit net. http://www.online-literature.com/forums/search.php?searchid=954402. They are mostly humdingers. :D

I agree. I said he was really passionate. He was earnest too. He had a lot of social concerns as well.
And what is this speel above about him "needing editor" and "excessive use of I's" and "impeding any momentum"? I do see you're trying to tone it down but it's still all done in that smiling-elbowing-the-next-guy-haha-presumptuous way.
His use of "I"s, "You"s and "then"s to transition from image to image, gets in the way. I'm not poking fun, I'm giving honest criticism.
An excerpt from his adult novel, which would have been a lot smoother without using "then":
I was jacking off. I was fantasizing of the neighbor's wife again - and then I'm fantasizing of her teenage daughter and then some woman I came inside of a year before on a one night stand and now I'm shooting my babies all over my hand and the sheets.
And from what I've seen of your work you have your own writing problems.
I definitely need work; I'll be the first to admit that. I would be happy if you commented on them and pointed the problems out. I post them here for help, not an ego boost.
I think you're making a mockery out the guy, first with your poem and now the follow-up commentary. I just don't think he'd appreciate it or you'd appreciate it if I did it to you.
I wasn't mocking Larsen. Not to say I didn't make a few jokes, but why so serious? I've been trying to promote similiar ideas in the Lit-Net Generation group and I wanted to bring back the idea of Larsen. He has sold on amazon, which is great. My "commentary" has been me assessing his work, which means I took time to read it. My "commentary also suggest that Larsen's work has potential and he definitely has a story to tell.
An excerpt from his novel Unalaska, Alaska, which I liked (the passage not the novel):
The most cuddly looking sweet sounding guy in the Bering Sea explained that, "the arrangement between the company and the Russian authorities was that the Russian boats brought us the fish and we processed it." As he talked I started wondering how he made it on an Alaskan fishing boat without getting sexually harassed.
"The only problem" he continued talking as I continuing wondering, "was they only brought us fish during the day. The day shift did all the work and made half the money."
"Didn't they just move everybody to the day shift?" I asked. "No," Mr. Sweet and Cuddly said.
I just don't think he'd appreciate it or you'd appreciate it if I did it to you.
Larsen posted an interview and in the thread a Lit-Netter did a parody of the interview and Larsen had a good laugh.
I can laugh at myself and don't mind others laughing at me.
Don't forget that two members have become interested in Larsen's work because of this thread.
O, the story is called Schism and is in the short story section. Take you gloves off and give me your thoughts.

Your link didn't work, but I posted a link to all the thread he started.
Sadly, neither of the links posted by Nick and Virgil to Larsen's lit net posts work. Mod?! Little help!

Yeah, posting a link to a search *you* did doesn't "work" for others, they expire.. so you have to click on his member profile here
http://www.online-literature.com/forums/member.php?u=8879
click Statistics, and search for his threads or posts that way.
Thanks, Logos. Yes, and then, for anyone not totally au fait with this, click on show all statistics beneath his little photo, then select Find all threads started by Wolf Larsen.
I remember the guy now, even commented on some of his work.

I saw that you commented on some of his threads and found it odd when you said he was new to you. His more radical stuff is not easily forgotten, like his play.
Who's Wolf Larsen?
A writer and member of Lit-Net, but he hasn't been around for over a year.
He has a website, but you can find his threads here on Lit-Net.
