Next month we will be adding a special Valentine section. PM your anonymous Valentines to the Newsletter and a list of people who will recieve a valentine on the 14th of February will be added to the paper. On the 14th, the PM's will be forwarded on to the member they are for anonymously via the Newsletter. So why not make someone smile on valentines day. And please, no joking! Your valentine can be a picture, a verse from a poem, a personal message or what ever you would like.
I hope that many will participate.

I could probably leave my PM box full and not have a problem.

In the past 3 years, I've only received a single valentine. And that was only after told some girl that nobody ever sends me valentines.

I shall send some out, though; there's no doubt of that. ;)

I was going to flood you with 500,000 valentines :(. I guess I'll have to cut it back to just 175- that way the other ladies will have a chance :p

How are you to know who they are for? Does the sender have to give the name of the recipient?

Here are some simple instructions regarding the anonymus valentines.

decide who you would like to send an anonymous valentine to. Select whether you would like to send them a poem, a picture or some special personal message from yourself. Put these into a PM, with the name of the member you want to recieve it on top of the message to me. (To....)
When the February Edition of The Lit Net News is blogged, there will be a list, similar to the birthday section in the paper, with the names of the forum members who will recieve valentines on the 14th. On valentines day, i will forward the Original PM's, with the quote bubble and original senders name removed to keep them anonymous, to those members.

Of course people can send valentines themselves openly, but where is the secret and the mystery? ;)

Thanks so far to those few who have sent in their Valentines. There is still three days to go, so if anyone else is interested, please do send them on. Make someones day, especially if you know they do not have a loved one to celebrate it with.

I don't know how I would feel, if I get a message on Valentine's Day. I have never received any message, flowers, cards, and all that is done on this day. I was always the messenger for other guys and girls, passing their gifts across :rolleyes:

Well, off topic, but related to Valentine's Day -- I have had a myriad of zany things happen to me in the name of love and cupid and little red hearts on this day over the years. :eek:

Due to some technical problems, the valentines are being PM'd in advance of tomorrow.
Also i'd like to apologise in advance. Some of you may recieve a valentine that is not completely edited, and has the senders name on it, this was due to accidentally sending the message while in the process of editing. My apologies. You will know from the title of the PM...
