Walk Away

[silent sanity]

Swallow the pain
beneath my chest
close my eyes
release a breath

devour my soul
try not to react
the damage is done
but there is so much left

the pain of another day
without the one who i needed
to make it through this Broken evening

i wont walk away
from everything we have
no matter the pain
no matter the past
i wont walk away
while my heart is still beating
i wont let you say
we were not meant to last

These nights seem so endless
without the sound of your voice
hold back my tears
release another breath

hold me tonight
as the pills set in
forever locked in memories
this love is never ending

the pain of my weakness
without the one who i needed
couldn't make it through another broken evening

you walked away
from everything we had
because of my pain
because of your past
you walked away
as my heart stopped beating
you wouldn't believe me when i said
we would always last

ill never stop
hoping you will come back
