Hey guys, I am applying to Harvard and Yale for law school.
I asked a couple of my college professors to write references for me, and they both told me that they would be happy to recommend me, but that I should write the reference for them. I am to write the reference, and send it to my professors for their review. They reserve the right to make any changes they deem necessary before they put their names on it and send it off to the law schools for me.
My question is this: How measured should I make 'their words' be in praising myself?
I very much want to get into these schools.
