I do not find "Country Living"
I do find
http://www.ffbooks.co.uk/c0/c3230.htm
I also find "A Country Excursion", what looks like the complete text (translation)
http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/etexts/y24090.htm
Both links come from here:
http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/authors/Guy_de_Maupassant.htm
I also found:
http://www.classicallibrary.org/maupassant/
This took me all of FIVE minutes in google.com
"God helps those who help themselves."
Well, this IS the place where people are sent when requesting a book... you know, where it says Request A Book (http://www.online-literature.com/), you either decide to help with looking for what the people are asking for (either by finding it or telling them it's not a public domain yet or anything) or join the request, or just ignore it. If it takes all of FIVE minutes searching using a search engine, I say it's up to you if you want to search for it and share what you found or just ignore the less sophisticated people's requests (no offense to you, Maljackson, or anyone else)

It's also an area where requests can be added, for future reference for Admin, in hopes that maybe someday all or many of these books requested by members will indeed be in the database for _this_ site ;)
