Bleeding Out
In our worlds sick comedy,
For death there is no rememdy,
Our lives are fragile as glass,
Our bodies weaken as times pass,
For death is something not escaped,
For lifes feeble bottom scraped,
We claw our way through this life,
Followed by sickened worldly strife,
As time flows through the hourglass,
Our lives come and go to pass,
Death quickly surely follows suit,
Through the heart the arrows shoot,
The stab you with unworldly pain,
As your shallow beating vein,
Bleeds out greatly upon the floor,
As the dark figure opens the door,
He licks the blood from your veins,
Ceasing all the worldly pains,
Immortala he is as they know,
He should have died long ago,
A gorgeous venomous poison flower,
With amazing strength and power,
With gentle strength he holds you close,
He is the vampire of modern prose.
