i might have an original copy of 84

was in the local library and scored what seems to be an original copy of 1984 published by harcourt,brace and company. copyright 1949. not very many clues to the to know for sure. i can put up some pics if you guys can help me determine weather it is or is not....

The first edition was Secker & Warburg in 1949, so I'm not sure where yours fits in.

athiest...thanks for the quick response. it appears i dont have the first edition. but i would imagine my version was made shortly after. ill have to take pictures of it and show you. theres a burn mark on the cover that looks genuine but fits in perfectly with the cover. its interesting....
