What do you think is the most climatic point in Beloved by Toni Morrison and why?

I think it is the scene where sethe kills her daughter. but im not sure if im right or why its the most climatic point. can anyone help me out plz?

It technically is the climax of the story, all the action builds up towards it, to the point where Sethe realizes (more like comes to the conclusion) the baby is better off not growing up, and having to be subjected to the horrors that are life.

But in truth, the novel doesn't rely as much on climax as it does on subtlety. Plot isn't as central, I would argue, as is setting - the plot itself is rather vague, and it is the setting which creates the themes and dynamics.
