Never been to Nashville, but you're right, there is something about live music that makes me happy, no matter what the genre.

Live music does it for me too, Virgil and djy, especially out of doors - I love hearing buskers in the street. A group of musicians came and played what I suppose might be called 'township jazz' in the courtyard of a museum I was visiting in South Africa recently - the rest of my party just walked past them but I just had to stop and listen and was rewarded with broad smiles when I applauded!

Books and food make me happy though!
So does nature though, looking at leaves and flowers on a bright sunny day. Actually sunny days in general make me happy. Especially when there are slight traces of bright white clouds in the sky and I can lay on the ground watching them float by. I feel so happy and relaxed when I do that.
Which is the same with the night sky. Laying on the ground watching the stars makes me really happy.
Music in general makes me happy too. Although one song more than any other, quoted in my signature, Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen) by, well, the chorus is sung by Quindon Tarver. The spoken word sections are done by an Australian actor (I think), and the thing was put together by Baz Luhrmann. Anywho that song inspires me to no end, and lifts me up when I feel down.

I guess... I keep thinking of things that inspire me. Because when I am inspired, I feel light, I feel content, I feel determined, I feel positive, I feel... happy.
But things that just make me happy, well I spose, actually Futurama does. That show never fails to make me laugh and be happy. Same with Scrubs.

Also, helping people makes me happy. I love helping, and volunteering.
I spose once again I keep thinking I have to list objects that make me happy, not actions that make me happy.

It's a bit like food, but ... Lying on my bed, and sleeping until the next day.
Sometimes, spending the night awake is good ... Specially when there's nothing to do, the following day.

Walking at Jardim Botanico (a garden in Rio). It can be either a sunny day or a rainy day ... Both kinds of days are wonderful!

I love to come back home, and, instead of taking the elevator to the main ground floor, to go by the stairs, because the building's cats (my friends) lie there. Two of them are good friends, and ... well it's a wonderful thing, in the end of the day, to put my hands on their heads, and keep looking how deeply they enjoy it! ... Talk to them. (Two girls! the prettiest!) I call them Narica ("Nosey") and Pingada ("Dropped"). It's wonderful to be corresponded in love and friendship. Once, I was getting home, with my mom, and Narica was at the ground floor, and mom said: "oh, look!: she's waiting for you!" haha! This certainly makes me happy. If I didn't live with my parents I'd addopt at least one of them.

And, ... getting over having fallen inlove :D (so as to may fall inlonve again! :thumbs_up )

Recently, watching very little kids ... They're so ... "new"! (In so many senses!)

Writing, when I'm in the mood. Making characters (no matter the mood!). Playing with words. Getting to know what a word means! "Where" it comes from ...
