Forgot to put poll. Can one be added? :) x

A love or hate it book. Many afficionados of Twilight have been appalled by this fourth book and feel cheated whereas others lap it up.

I don't have any personal attachment to the series. Few points:

1- It's eventful. The events may not be pleasant, but they happen
2- Finally for a large chunk we don't have to hear Bella's whining! Though we do have to listen to Jacob's worshipping of her.
3- Any ending other than a happy ending would have been bad, knowing the rest of the series. I forgive happy endings for dross, and it's nice to read something jolly.
4- However...some scenes are disgusting. Bella and Eddie finally get around to it...unfortunately Meyer didn't seem to think that it wasn't just a bit gross. She should have kept it as a soul connection.
5- Imprinting. Why does she keep giving paedophilic examples?!
6- Typos in ambundance
7- One event is a big glaring light. I guessed it before I even read the series. And that bit is just...eww...

The book was far to long and the whole Jacob thing drove me around the bend. I still enjoyed the story but you are right there was always going to be a happy ending I agree
