Imagine Jesus and the Buddha meet. Imagine Buddhists, Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Jews congregate and pray in togetherness.

Convergence or communion are all we value yet there is more divergence, fragmentation and disintegration amidst all of us. Today followers of these religions are not in mutual cooperation but there is misunderstanding and conflict among them.

Man is born purse, unadulterated and commingling with schools of religions, indoctrinating themselves in diverse faiths and ideologist they build a wall against one another in point of fact.

It seems that today it is Gods who fight or wage war against one another.

Jesus is fighting with the Buddha, and Mohamed is with Krishna

They have created values and values themselves are not eternal and universal. They are fluxing with respect to circumstances.

The Buddha had created certain values and that fitted his society and now it seems his values are ineffective and newer values need to be created.

Yes, maybe we need to design new gods if we want religion. Or maybe we should reject all gods. Or bow down before the will of the Master Computer. Or hide in a dark room.

God is nameless and formless. It does not belong to any particular sect.

many ancient religions, notably in the ancient near east, believed that when one people killed another people it was because their god was stronger. maybe these ancients were right all along

People fight sometimes in the name of God, not the gods themselves...

There is only one God.

One thing the Buddha said in the Dhammapada was, "do not underestimate evil, and do not underestimate good."

Do not disregard evil, saying, "It will not come nigh unto me'', by the falling of drops even a water-jar is filled, likewise the fool, gathering little by little, fills himself with evil.

Do not disregard good, saying, "It will not come nigh unto me''; by the falling of drops even a water-jar is filled, likewise the wise man, gathering little by little, fills himself with good.
