1984 Help me out pls !

can someone please help me with this one. Does anyone knows how many and which literary prices the book '1984' of George Orwell has won.
If it hasn't won anything pls tell me. :rolleyes:

I'm not exactly sure whether it won any prizes, as it was written in 1948 and perhaps awards weren't given out back then to novels (I'm just guessing) ...but the novel did get great praise and reviews, and letters that were sent to Orwell before his death acclaiming and congratulating him on his final work can be found I'm sure.
