Some of us on the tread were born rich or lucky and others made fortunes thru struggles.
I feel like sharing something personal and in fact it is not necessary to keep anything as private from posters. I came of a background that was very remote and that was an agrarian society. I struggled hard in life. To reach where I am now financially, educationally and positionally I had to scale different pyramids of difficulties. My friends are still ploughmen and some are poor farmers. The majority have just basic educations only.
I oftentimes love to visit the village I was born in, and go across to those childhood friends to remember the days we had, the fun we made in those days. There are wonderful moments to reminisce. I am now materially ahead, and yet I feel like I can not buy everything the bucks I have.
I know now from a certain height that I too was at the bottom once upon a time. And I know more than that that both height and bottom are sheer illusions, and in point of fact there is no top and bottom. I have this idea out of my meditations. I know this truth, and live as a witness. Yet I am Karmic and feel that I must work, and Karma is what is essential in life and that leads us to salvation or Nirvana. Life without Karma is nothing of worth, and that is what great spiritual masters like Krishna and Jesus taught.
I got swayed by streams of thought as my main topic here is to share something private to us in life.
But some of posters here may have different stories, backgrounds, experiences, values and the like. Sharing something that are personal and private at times become great revelations. Something really exciting to read.
