So do I.
I'm Monica Roxanne, a year 12 student. I have not met much people who find literature as interesting as I find it. Maybe through this forum I, hopefully, will.
Kind regards to you all. :thumbs_up

Hello, and welcome! :D I'm excited for 3 reasons. The first being the obvious, another literature lover in the forums :D. Secondly, well, I'm about to be a year 12 student in 09! :D Thirdly, I'm assuming by your location of "Albany, WA" you mean Albany in Western Australia? :D If so, that is SO COOL! I live in Western Australia :D (there's quite a few Aussies around here, but very very very few West Aussies!)

Ahh righto. Well I'm actually in Perth at the moment :). Been going to a few bookshops here. I've decided to buy a book everytime i go somewhere. It's good here too because there are a lot of secondhand bookshops. BARGAIN!! lol :)

haha no way that is so cool! :D Yeah there's many more bookshops there than where I live! That's why my grandma and I go up to Perth on book-buying adventures :D

Oh that is wicked. Hahahah i am so jealous right now . My family hates book shopping with me. Apparently it's too boring. I wished somebody would take me to 'book buying adventures' hahahahah.
Actually I never used to like lit .. i greatly despised it in the beginning of year 11 but then we had a new teacher. We actually started learning things after that. Now I find it a good hobby :). You learn so much and you, too, find out there is much more to learn. It's amazing.
How about you?

Aww that sucks! :( We'll have to go on a book buying adventure some time then :D
Oh well at least it got better for you! :) I used to love English... It was one of my best subjects, and people were always telling me that English Lit is hard so I was determined to do it :p. The teacher I have for Lit I've had for 2 years now, and yeah we didn't get on so well before, but by the end of the year our class (6 students and 1 teacher) were a really happy and friendly bunch! :D

Hahahahah maybe someday :P
Hahahah I never learned much in year 10 english. All I ever did was gasbag :). I think I too only did lit because it was the top subject, at first hahaha. Oh well, it's probably one of the best things I've ever done.
Wow there's only six of you? There's seventeen of us in our class. Though the sixteen of us are chicks and there's only one dude, Danger Dan. Yeah it is a fun subject, not my best hahahah but I certainly enjoy it like you do. I especially love the tutorials. Do you do tutorials too?
At the moment I'm reading 'The Bell Jar' by Sylvia Plath. Doing a bit of research about Plath too. What about yourself?
