Two goos short stories?

What are the best two short stories that are similar or can be compared or contrasted? How can you compare or contrast them? (Through genre, theme, etc)

If I were to contrast 2 short stories, I would choose something by Sartre - probably The Wall and then something by Wilde - maybe The Happy Prince... I cannot imagine something so contrary. The scenes, the language, the main idea of the short story.. even the readers were meant to be different...:)
