Nintendo Wii

I have spent the majority of the past twenty-four hours playing tennis on my aunt's Wii (the game is "Wii Sports"). I'm virtually a pro now, but I think I might have tennis elbow. :lol: My right arm really hurts when I move it. But I play on! :D

Who here has played a Wii before? If you have, what did you think?

:lol: I have a Wii. It's addictive at first then it wears off. All the sports stuff is really good, anything which requires some kind of physical response which, if you're not playing, is equally hilarious to watch. We recently got the Wii Fitness board which is pretty good fun too.

Did you understand the boxing? I've still not figured out how that works (and I've had a Wii for 2 years now!).

Yeah, the boxing is difficult. I'm not sure if I even did it right. I just kept punching and punching and punching. :D

My household....(me and 2 twenty-somethings)...
we all play computer games..PC....
have 2 Xbox setups....one for me...:D... and one for the son-in-law..
and our family console is the Wii
we all play bowling....the son-in-law likes the baseball and my daughter likes the tennis...Bowling my fav....real life..not so hot...

Seems to me that most of the Wii games are family oriented...multiplayer..:)

But its so easy!!! Tennis was a disaster for me. I know someone who cracked their wrist playing the tennis.



My friends have a Wii and sometimes when we have sat in and drank a few bottles of wine, we have thought it was a good idea to play. :blush: Its hillarious! Surprised we havent ended up in A&E.

For a period of time...
Until it gets to the point where whenever you go over to a certain friend's house, all they do is play Wii.
And then it gets boring.
Being... not the most athletic person in the world, I am not a big fan of Wii sports. lol

Wii is pretty fun - some things work better than others. I don't have one, but my little brother who is 6 does. I got him Animal Crossing for the Wii for Christmas and I'm really jealous :p I would love to play that, but I'm not home this Christmas.

Mario and Sonic at the Olympics is pretty good. It has a lot of sports, and some of them are pretty fun. I forget, I've played some other Wii games too. But the sports ones are quite entertaining. My little brother liked the bowling a lot last year . . . then we went real bowling, and he was so upset because it wasn't as easy as Wii bowling.

I have various friends with it. My brother and I had the option of getting a Wii, or getting more stuff for our Playstation 2 (more Singstar discs, Guitar Hero World Tour etc.) and we ended up with the latter option.

I like the bowling one, unless I'm wearing a skirt. Last time I played it in a skirt, it got caught when I threw my arm back to bowl the ball, and as my skirt zip was broken, it pulled down my skirt (but I was wearing stockings under it thankfully! :p) and then my shot was messed up!

Mostly my friends just sit and play, but I really get into it :lol:. If I'm lucky, they'll take my lead and get into it as well! Like these photos here, from my friends birthday (I'm the one on the right), we were doing tennis here, well, warming up for it :p. Funnily enough, I got a leg cramp... But my arms were fine! :p :lol:

My friends have a Wii, I think it's great fun :D We all like the bowling and golf, I aced the Super Hula-Hoop one :D Epic fail with the yoga exercises though, my back made the most hideous noises hehe :lol:
