Something I Composed on the Way to Work

The sound of stilettos:
Such irreverence towards the foot.
That dull, dry monotone
Of a conversation with the earth.
Wish this unseen woman
Whose contortionist act with cowhide,
Has so disrupted my revery
Would stop following me
With her signature tune!
