Sequel

I love to read books of intrigue or historical pieces on famous people.
I especially loved "Phantom of the Opera" but find it odd that the sequel was never made into a movie: "The Phantom of Manhattan"

I ran across a reference to a sequel by Gaston Leroux in an old Weird Tales circa 1934 magazine but I have suspected the reliability of that article for years and any search on the internet about Leroux has come up empty.

just checked Yahoo and found your Phantom of manhattan reference (a book written a few years back) but if you want the real deal--read Susan Kay's Phantom--a worthy addition to the canon.
