i have a project to do and need help on connotating this poem and also finding the attitude and paraphrasing it. im normally kind of good at this but this is a tricky one.

It's tied in with Feminist movements and civil rights movements. Perhaps some books on those subjects, general overviews, and perhaps a biography of Lucille Clifton could be of use. I know she wrote memoirs a while ago, perhaps those will be of interest.

thanks. um can you help me to kind of paraphrase the thing. or like give me a few hints on what some of these things. because to me this poem has the same attitude the whole poem

could anyone tell me if there is a symbol in this poem. i would think it would be the syrup but i do not know
I'll give you a hint, Aunt Jamima is a brand of pancake powder and syrup, featuring a black woman on the boxes cover.
