remembering your glowing eyes
reflecting what i felt
a fire that flowed through me inside
compulsion can't be quelled
your thoughtfulness in simple things
without words still you spoke
as lovebirds in my heart would sing
from dreams of you i woke

our hearts then flew away
into the sunlit rays
free from the bonds of us
in that we're made from stuff
that cannot be the same
as spirits in a flame
a love that permeates
euphoric higher states

innately naked and tender souls
two coupled hearts and hands that hold
the bliss we both feel being near
becoming one we hold us dear
a considerate, pleasing, instinctive,
tender,
perfect,
love
