This is a bit of biting, dark sardonic humur. I wrote this with a starical intent. It is not meant to be taken at face value or seriously

No Mercy

I hide among the suicides
but I must not be taken
as their ill breed.

They are the eyeless
perhaps, the soulless
with no voice to speak
their muses are all mutes.

I contend my judgement
comes not from a place
of piety, of which
I wipe my feet upon
a waiting unwelcome mat.

But like them
I shall not be saved
though I never seek
sanitary salvation,
heaven a hospital waiting room
all in white with nothing to offend.

Those with noose marks
around their necks,
slit wrists dripping
ceaselessly upon the floor.

They deem themselves Nobel
how romantic to avenge
the world by self-destruction,
but alas it achieves so little.

It is good to have enemies
and not just school yard bullies
but true enemies
of the deep loathing sort.

It keeps one healthy
and alive, by their very
hatred you are idolized,
held important.

And just think
it is more accommodating
to want someone else dead
more then yourself.

So why walk among the sullen,
we are all lost souls and sometimes
it pleases my own designs
to sage such regal dramatics.

Great work. You paint a rather vivid picture and carry your theme effortlessly across the page.
