Untitled

So confused
waiting; watching
time slides by
on its pendulum

Wondering what
to do
thoughts colliding
nervous numbness
ticking by the
hours; minutes; seconds

Questions with no answers
answers with no meaning
wanting; suspended
dead-ended

Struggling to breathe
and trying to make sense
of scattered pieces
picked off the floor

Those are the remnants
of life
cutting your fingers
trying to glue them
together
while in the end
the picture is always
cracked

Asymmetrical
self-discovery
making delusions
out of reality

* A note but the name of this poem Untitled is the official title of this poem. In my own sense of irony I always wanted to title a poem Untitled, and when I finnished this peice I knew that was the perfect name for it.

wow, really like this one... did you see myself in those pieces? it's like no reference point to go by... wow, i think you could write this poem forever and never be done. this is a poem in itself:
"Those are the remnants/of life/cutting your fingers/trying to glue them
together/while in the end/the picture is always/cracked"

I liked the story behind your title choice. I agree...it suites this poem.

I could feel the frenzied emotion in this piece which is really brought out in these lines
"Struggling to breathe
and trying to make sense
of scattered pieces
picked off the floor"

"Questions with no answers
answers with no meaning
wanting; suspended
dead-ended "
This is a really nice stanza. This poem should have the honor of being the lyrics to the "Reqrieum for a Dream" theme song
"making delusions
out of reality "
I thought "making delusions out of reality could be changed to something like...."making delusions defined reality" might bring out this point a bit more.
I liked everything about this poem though.

Thank you very much, I rather enjoyed that movie. It was really something else. Very well done though I thought.
