I don't see this book (and the Tanglewood Tales) included in the online works. Perhaps there aren't any online texts available.
The way Hawthorne retold the ancient greek stories is very amusing. I love reading this little book with its story telling style. There's nothing new about the stories actually. They are just ancient greeks stories re-told, like the story of The Gorgons, Midas, Hercules, etc. But Hawthorne, re-write these stories wonderfully.
And FYI, last nite I got bad dreams after reading about the Gorgons/Medusa

Indeed. They are not in the site.
However, they can be found in the net. Here are the links:

Tanglewood Tales (http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/976) (Project Gutenberg also has some of the tales from A Wonder Book for Girls and Boys, if not all). Otherwise, this (http://www.mainlesson.com/display.php?author=hawthorne&book=wonder&story=_contents) should cover it.

I have read The Scarlet Letter and several of his stories but mine favourite is "A Wonder Book".The way he told the stories made the book unique. It's one of my favourite books at all.
