through the looking glass,
now a two-dimensional exoskeleton
with threatening fears, faults, and fronts;
a legible, loathsome jacket's analysis
upon its cliche no-novel,
that only the daring who master mistakes,
dispel illusions,
and gauge overestimations,
frankly investigate.
chasing, aghast, after still waters,
to reflect my previous, pacifying pretense,
i plunge myself into drowning disguise
forever, like denuded adam,
securely shrouded in death.
