I think overall George Orwell made many good predictions about the future. I think he nailed the prediction on how the government is always watching you.I also think he made the right prediction that the government always wins no matter what. yes they do strike again and Orwell did make many good predictions but lets be frank he exadrated a bit and the government really wont take as much control as he said. But all in all he did a good job..

I think that george orwell was a very intelligent author and I think he was warning more than anything of a worst case senario if we let things get that bad almost a nightmare vision of a horrible society that hopefully never will, be could be.

He isn't predicting anything!!! He is warning us against the dangers of totalitarianism. If you thing he was exaggerating you have seen Orwell's main point incorrectly. He wanted it to be like this because he needed to show us that there is no fighting totalitarianism once it takes hold. He needed to make it as horrific as possible in order for the book to take full effect
