Hi!

If anyone has any suggestions for my query help would be welcome. I am looking for book ideas that surround particular nonfiction themes. They are so general that usual searches produce additional unassociated lists that are worrisome to trudge through. The themes are generally survival situations, lost at sea, lost in a cave, lost in the wilderness/jungle, trapped on a mountain/cliff-face. If any of you know of web sources, that list books specifically grouped to these subjects, which I could access for perusal, I would be appreciative.

There is a book about people who crashed in a plane in the andes (i think they were a football team) 'Alive: The True Story of the Andes Survivors by Piers Paul Read'. I've not read it but i've seen a film about it :P. The Beach By Alex Garland is about a secret beach community.

Sorry to have been so bumbling in my request.

What I am asking help on is finding a website/forum/web address where the occupants/people/someone has already compiled, for one reason or another, a list of books surrounding the genre, survival situations, - lost at sea, shipwrecked, lost in a cave, trapped in a cave, lost in the wilderness/jungle, trapped on a mountain, alpine climbing accidents, etc., - for the purpose of which I can go there and browse through the list at my leisure and pick out the ones that interest me.

Most searches would not be specific enough to get through quickly.

For example, a search of “accident” or “drama” or “adventure” is just not specific enough to narrow the list. If you would know of such an existing genre or list that would be great.

If you are admin, could you check in to why my profile pic is stuck in that pixelation transformer glitch?
