Look at the Christmas tree, shining there for you and me
Look outside the snow has fallen, looks like the earth is glowing
Can’t you see how beautiful it is to me?
Tattoos are used to adorn our skin, stuff your ears with a pin
Diamonds hide what is within,
Lies disguise the world and make it beautiful

Hope diminished, replaced by knots of expectation,
Chlorine pools are for a swim, dieticians make you slim,
Cover pots in pretty paintings, Mona Lisa and Paul Gauguin.
Can’t you see how pretty it is to me?
Lace stockings and corset’s, make the ladies delicate
Find the harmony within,
Lies disguise the world and make it beautiful
