A Face in Space!

Tonight (the first day of summer!) Jupiter, Venus and the crescent moon aligned to make a face in the sky!

I managed to get some photos so I'll post them soon...

Did anyone else see this or know of it? It won't happen again for a number of years.

I noticed that! Ain't it purty? I thought it was real neat the other night, too, when Venus and Jupiter were perfectly aligned. Ah, space.

Awesome! I saw it last night and my friend remarked on it but we didn't realize what we were seeing...

I just saw it this evening, though the planets had moved a bit away. It didn't form a face, but it's cool to see Venus and Jupiter as clearly as they were. Both were way brighter than the stars.

In these parts it's a frowning face, but still very cool.

haha..that's the topic in our block last night..I was not able to really see the thing. It was too cloudy last night. I don't know why:(
