I remember seeing a book in a bookstore that had a title that went something like, "Scandal and satanism in queen Mary's court"..

I don't know what the name was. Elizabeth, Mary.. I don't know. It may not have been a queen either.

It was a bestseller and was hardcover, with a Victorian type illustration on it. I'm pretty sure it was written pretty recently, so it shouldn't be too hard to find.

The problem is I can't.

Anyone want to help me?

There's a book called "The Affair of the Poisons: Murder, Infanticide, and Satanism at the Court of Louis XIV", by Anne Somerset (but it's not set in Elizabethan times). It has an eighteenth- or nineteenth-century-looking painting on the cover. It sounds like it may be what you're looking for. I read it, and it's quite interesting, if not exciting.
