Aloha!
I'm Barbara, 16, from Hong Kong (Not in Japan!) and is formerly a GCSE student and now embarking in the IB course. Everything has been going smoothly until we started on the novel Lord of the Flies by William Golding, and I begun to experience some problems with thinking 'outside the box' regarding some of the aspects of his book.
Ok.
After reading what I just typed, I feel so formal, so just to tell you, I'm not like that (I'm actually a fun person! :)), and to put what I typed simply, I just need some help answering some questions. I think I will go exploring this website for a bit more and discover how to start a new topic/thread thing, since I think it's inappropriate to bombard people with questions in the Introductions forum.
Back to me..
I'm Chinese, not mixed, and speaks the languages English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Spanish! (I've been learning Spanish for over.. 6 years in high school, but I'm still plain rubbish at it :().I'm beginning my second last year in high school, year 11. Hmm.. I don't want to go blathering on and on about myself so..
I think this website has some really nice people and I hope to meet some new friends here who all share the love for reading!
x
