Hi
For a class project, I'm trying to compile a list of well-recognized, influential American short stories that deal with gender (either as a man or woman or in between). I'd like for it to span from the 20th century to present.
I've found a couple women authors dealing with gender: kate chopin, gertrude stein, tillie olsen. I'm seeking more short stories that have had a great impact.
For men, I've only found Allan Gurganus who deals with gender/masculinity. Of course i know there is much more out there, which is why I hope that you smart cookies can help! Thanks.:yawnb:
