so please do not delay,
so please bring christmas here...

The bells sound out in joyful chorus,
the sleighs go round in the snow,
but you better not be naughty,
because santas watching, you know...

Smiles light up the day,
the snow is whiter than white,
the christmas spirit is everywhere,
and everything feels right...

The elves are making the toys,
and packing them onto the sleigh,
So that santa may bring them all over the world,
and we can open them on christmas day...

So fill your heart with cheer,
and give the gift of joy,
because everybody needs it,
even such a little girl, or such a little boy...

There'll be no tears on Christmas,
Things are much too cheery,
everyone will be together,
and no one will be dreary...

So light up the face of another,
and do it on Christmas day,
so that another may feel this happiness,
and they'll get a toy from Santa's sleigh...
