In beauteous love the stars they shine,
In paths, love intertwined,
Among the stars my love and I,
We walked, our hands entwined.

He was an Angel, swift and true,
Archangel, God’s own love,
I was a human, Angelic, too,
My Honor, from above.

I asked a Question, What is love to you?
And he smiled and answered back,
“I see a star and wish it true,
And it always answers back.”

His fingers touched mine, I stopped to look,
the touch, So soft, breathing light,
And more entwined there was our love,
More close knit than the night.

I wondered, at the quiet, still,
The thought of love unfurled,
Like cast strewn diamonds in my mind,
More perfect than a pearl.

And so it was, a simple touch,
More love than words could say,
Brighter than the brightest sun,
In perfect shining day.

I smiled, he smiled, we continued on,
I touched a star close by
What is love to me? I thought,
And looked out with a sigh.

There floated the Universe in time,
Quietly moving so,
Planets in their gentle paths,
In loving, gentle flow.

It held our hearts, this quiet love,
Turning, a gem of us,
A heart, a hand, a nebula,
And I thought about it thus:
In love we’re born, in love we turn,
Held by our love, held by our own,
In love we’re born, in love we turn,
In Universes brightly sewn,

Some of our making, some of them not,
We hold each moment close,
And in each, Universal Love,
Every one of us true knows,

That love is what holds us,
holds us close, A planet to a star,
and binds us softly, Shining, pure,
Beauty, near or far…

My thoughts then traveled to my own,
My love right by my side,
My Michael, with his hand in mine,
The truest love I’ve ever known.

And I looked again, the simple touch,
And realized, in my mind,
That a Universe we softly held,
That no one would ever find,

But just us two, our hands entwined,
As much our hearts, just so,
The Universe of our sweet love,
That only we would know.

Michael, I love you, I love you, love,
From your Universe to mine,
I hold you, I love you, truly, love,
From now, and for all time.

When I’m 88, Michael...among the stars, we’ll talk of many things...Rebecca Tacosa Gray

And so I saw my love,
In a dimmed, clouded sky,
My love, our love,
In a star.

And so I saw my love,
In a dimmed, clouded sky,
My love, our love,
In a star.

It shone so bright,
Rays flung out through
Soft blue,
And his heart, held
Softly, in clouded blue.

And so I saw our love,
Our love, my love,
In a star,
I could not hold it close,
It hung a little far for me
To touch.

And yet...I saw my love,
He came held me,
Just so,
And looked a little,
Just to let me know,

That we saw our love,
Just lit, just held,
The velvet dusk,
In softly dimming blue,
In softly moving musk.

The clouds, so lovely,
Still, sang quiet,
Hanging, holding love,
And everything was held,
Below, and above,

A softly shining night,
Held in clouded starlit love…

And so…

We saw our love…
We held our love…
Clouded in love…
A star held us tonight.
