Sekou tha Misfit is one of my favourite spoken word poets. He is able to create a vivid image in your mind, and it's always on the topic of something relevant and interesting. He recently did something for Rock the Vote, which I think is incredibly well done:

I thought he took what could have been a very cliche idea (mother nature as a woman) and turned it into something unique. Again, I think the cadence is quite impressive as well. Hope you enjoy!
