I was thinking about the art of being a writer and an unusual thought crossed my mind- Orwell and Kerouac, unlikely bedfellows but both lived their life through their literature and their literature WAS their life. There is a famous picture of kerouac orating with a flaggan of wine in one hand and a scribe and paper in the other. This flagged up the image of Gordon Comstock clutching his London Pleasures manuscript wandering the streets of west London.
Whether or not orwell would have agreed with Kerouacs beat style of writing i doubt, but kindred spirits just the same in my opinion,
any contributors agree? And have you found any unlikely partnerships in your literary adventures?

I have thought of another, Hunter S Thompson, Gonzo, live and become part of the story.
