When Do You Buy Your Trick-Or-Treat Candy?

Do you buy it as soon as you see it on the shelves? Do you wait until the last minute? Do you send your kids out trick-or-treating early, and then give their candy away to trick or treaters?

I buy it at the last minute - otherwise I would just eat it all.

I just realized I do eat it all.
I've already bought five bags of reeses...
but I'll have to go out tommorrow again.
and waste gas. which probably costs more than the candy.
next year ill buy it the day of halloween... :]

Halloween's still only slowly coming to Finland, so I don't have to worry about any Trick-or-Treaters :)

Ah, i remember the days of living in finland, helsinki is a beautiful city. It is also slow to pick off in australia, but the occasional group of little kids come around every hour or so. What me and a couple friends do is.. we leave the door open and put fake blood drips going through the doorway and around the corner, where we put a quite real looking manican with its legs sticking out into the doorway, covered in blood.

Human curiosity gets the better of them, they walk in with about 4 of us wearing masks around the corner...and.....GARAWRFLAPPLEGAPPLE!!!!!

They never return next year... muhuahhahahaahah!

Neither here nor there...

I won't buy it as soon as the shops tell me that I should buy I don't leave it till the last minute either; usually I get them couple of days before (whenever I happen to go to the shops).

I don't run the risk of consuming all these sweets because I am more of a chocolate girl (not the kiddie kind) so even the left overs (if there is any) sits in the cupboard for a long time, until someone who likes the kiddie sweets come along.

They make multipacks containing mini packs of all their varieties which, I hope, please most kids.
