Hello friends,
I'm a veracious reader and a big fan of modern fictions. However, I am a bit picky as well and my taste is a bit discerning. I especially adore fictions that revolve around the modern lives that reflect everyday human life in big cities. Recently, I came across such a novel, I would say it's an amazing effort by Ashish, the author of the book, The Final Awakening...I'd like to present my breif review on the same....

Ashish Mohan’s very first novel “The Final Awakening” seems like a promising one. Compactly written with a sleek and suspense narrative, the story easily holds the fancy of its readers till the end. The well-described characters are so lively that they reflect someone you know in real life.

The author’s proficient writing even made Arjun’s monologue with the rats held in cage at his home an interesting one! An excerpt from that very scene provided below proves this fact. The author’s impeccable style has some scenes and characters alive. For instance, Arjun’s monologue before the rats held in case can make you stick to your seat. Here is the excerpt from the page:

“As he pondered over the actions of the jovial rat, trying to impress the other rat and trying to feed it, he could sense that his thoughts probably were not wrong. It could really be possible that one of them is a female rat and the jovial rat is trying to woo the female rat and is trying all antics possible to impress the female rat.”

The approach of this novel is refreshingly new and appeals to today’s youth. Overall, a good book and definitely worth a read!

i just finished reading this debut novel of Ashish Mohan. the story, plot, the narratives, everything is a fresh approach. In fact i felt the author's narration style has a bit resemblance with another prominent author, Chetan Bhagat.
