Silence is the most important word,
The most profound sound,
The void which outlines being.
Word
Is world.
The whirl of meaning
In the meaningless resounds.
Reverant quietude,
The sanctity of stillness,
A mantra
Of unspoken gratitude,
Mirror of a water's surface
Undisturbed by attitude,
Quiet,
Speechless,
Motionless,
Still.
The ears ring
With emptiness.
A temple bell
Announces our arrival
Where the Numinous dwell.
