I would love to see a discussion of Marie Corelli's "Wormwood" here. Basically its a fin-de-siecle novel with degeneration as its main theme, specifically degeneration as a result of absinthe addiction. However, it has many other artistic and cultural sub-themes as well. Trouble is, there is hardly any easily available criticism on the net on it, hence my enquiry, I want to know what others who have read it think of it.
