This is for a curriculum planning class I'm in. I need parents of children (in the American school system) in grades K-12 to fill this out. Unfortunately, I don't personally know enough people who have school-age kids to reach my prof's requirements, so I turn to you.

Uh, in order to avoid talk of politics, it might be best to pm me your responses. That would be great.

1. What is your definition of curriculum?

2. How has curriculum changed since you were in school?

3. In your opinion, what are the most important subjects taught in the K-12 curriculum? (there should be an obvious choice for this one...)

4. Do you believe that there are any subjects that should be added or deleted from teh K-12 curriculum?

5. What is the purpose of the No Child Left Behind legislature? Is it working?

Thanks, and I look forward to your help.

Il Penseroso, would you like a homeschooler to answer, or just public or private schoolers. I'm homeschooled.

You know, I may not use it for this project, but I think it would be interesting to get that perspective. So sure, if possible.

Thanks.
