Ok, I simply translated the title from the French, I checked and the English title is Six Memos for the Next Millenium.

by now you've no doubt checked out king's on writing, you may not have to look much further than that and bird by bird in my opinion, but the only other book that ive read and thought unique in its insight would be 13 ways of looking at the novel, a tremendous work on analyzing 100 great novels and going through the process of writing your own.

I am not a Stephen King fan, though he is a talented writer, I don’t like horror.

Interestingly the movies based on his books, and probably much diluted in the movie version like – Shawshank redemption, Hearts in Atlantis and Green mile are very nice.

Not being a fan, I didn’t write the biography part of the book, I read only the On Writing part. It is very very good.

Thank you for suggesting, “Thirteen Ways of Looking at the Novel”; will read it sometime in future.

There's this book by Norman Mailer, The Spooky Art: Some Thoughts on Writing. I actually don't own it (yet), neither have read it, but I hope it helps as suggestion.
