I don't expect much but any help is greatly appreciated.

I remember looking at a book that was like 1984. It was about how a word was hidden in everything and no one noticed it because it was everywhere. They gave called the word another word because the claim that the readers otherwise would not be able to see the word.

I've been searching all over google, my history, everywhere and I can't find what book it is. I'm hoping someone knows the book and can help me because its driving me nuts and I really want to read this.

Thanks.

Edit: I also forgot to mention I don't remember the title or author sadly. My search goes on.

so its about sublimina;l messaging then? humm any idea how old the book was? did you read it and was there alot of internety things in it? Is it called Pattern Recognition by any chance?
:D

Cheer up it took me 4 years of searching to track down a japaneese tv series once and I actually knew the name I just couldn't spell it! And another 5 years trying to convince people that The Facts Concerning The Recent Carnival Of Crime In Connecticut" by mark twain actually existed when so called experts claimed it didnt ( I was right in the end !)
:D
you will find it eventually!

Thanks. I was just browsing the webs and came across it on wikipedia. Was reading about it and thought, "Hm, that sounds like a good book." Of course I didn't bother to bookmark it and my history and cookies decided to not grab it. So I'm at a lost and on a wild goose chase. If I could even remember the word they used to replace the other word I could find it.

Still looking. Sadly it wasn't Pattern Recognition.
