The great event


there is a big problem in the world today
due to some educated, privileged geeks
(I use that word with the up most apathy and hatred)
who have decided to evolve beyond biting the heads off chickens
and refusing to buy the hungry potatoes
this is not a complaint or a judgement
just an observation
I need to have my jaw wired
the IMF posted a letter to me saying this fact
but they forgot to crank it
so I had to play postage plus a pound,
the postman charged me two for the pleasure of his service
I read the letter and a clamp fitted itself to my jaw
the clamp broke clean through the wire
and my jaw could move again
but I had nothing that I wanted to say
so I wired up my jaw again
self imposed socialism
I wrote to the IMF saying
'hey this letter cost me a loaf of bread'
(I kindly enclosed a stamp addressed envelope
addressed to the queen mother
and they replied
'your letter is important, so important we aren't worthy to reply'
they had a point so I didn't chase it up
the poor get poorer and the rich celebrate this fact with a bonus
I suppose it's fair
for it must take a lot of effort
to eradicate democracy
and to cure the country
from the religion of the dollar
