I am looking for the complete poem that my mother used to recite. Unfortunately I only know part of the poem, and wondered if any one knows the rest.
It is about a young child who is sitting drawing pictures in the condensation on a windowpane.
Any help appreciated!
'I'm breathing on the windowpane
I've drawn a house and chimney pot
I've drawn a man and children too.
An apple and a toasting fork
And someone who looks just like you
And Grandma sitting in the rain.....
The poem finishes by the child saying 'I'll draw an ugly one of Jane' (Jane is the nurse who looks after the child and tells her off for drawing on the window
