I am logged into forum as Sitaram. When I visit my own post, it says at the bottom that I MAY edit that post. Yet the EDIT button seems to have suddenly disappeared?! What's the story. Editing is one of the most useful features in such a forum.
Please advise. Thanks.

Anyone else (not) seeing the blue Edit button on lower right corner? ?
It's still there for me Sitaram, sorry not sure what to say.
Though I did move this topic to The Literature Network forum as that is more appropo for actual site feedback/issues such as this and more likely to be seen faster by Admin. :)

Sorry for posting in the wrong place. Thanks for moving. Thanks for reply. Perhaps I should reboot, or log out and log back into the forum. Just so long as it is not something that a moderator did (I mean, if that is every what is going on, just tell me, so I dont spin my wheels)... thanks...

What did a Mod do? Take away your ability to Edit posts?
I have nothing to do with this Edit function disappearing for you and I have no idea why this is the case for you so hang in there until Admin sees this.

Strange, as I still have the ability to 'edit' former posts.

Oy vey! NOW my edit function is BACK. And hmmm.... all I did was to go off line for a while, and then use my dial up provider to go back on line. I never log out of the forum on my machines, so the cookie, or whatever, is always there to tell the forum I am logged in. How strange. Anyway, thanks everyone for your input.

It could be the cache of the edit button was replaced or lost and so the code for the button was there, but there was no visual representation of it.

Thanks, and you know, I am always forcing a reload from the site by pressing ctrl and the reload option.... so I am not just reading from cache...
