He went out to breath some fresh air, and then to continue his scientific work. A bit of gymnastics, a bit of running, breath-in, breath-out... It was enough.
In the kitchen his morning coffie was steaming and his wife's smile was shining.

"How is outside?" the wife whispered, as if still asleep.

"Nice morning, the day will be nice." He answered and gave his wife a hug, grateful because she had got up so early to make him coffie.

"What did my beauty dream about?" he asked, without paying much attention to what he was saying.

"Always the same." she replied with a sigh.

"Nothing's changed?"

"No," she replied briefly and looked through the window, unwilling to continue the conversation.

"Disappointed?" he asked, and went closer to her to look deep into her eyes. It seemed that they were full of tears. He kissed her and went into his study.

History, pre-history, the beginnings of life on the Earth. He was trying to see through that time period, more intuitivly. He had read enough books and now he was trying to get the rest of knowledge from his subconscious. It had been more than a month since he started it. He made drawings, paintings, notes... but, all in vain. He could make nothing out of it.

He looked through the window and saw his wife watering flowers in the garden. His thoughts went to her. She was tall and slim. He used to enjoy watching her dreamy morning figure, she appeared to him as something unreal, as if she was floating between two worlds, the world of dreams and the world of reality. It took her quite a long time to get fully awake in the mornings, contrary to him. He slept quickly, but intensively. She slept longer and fought with her dreams. During the last month she was having one recurring dream every single night: somebody came into their house, she was all alone, and could not see the visitor. She heard his steps, saw his shadow gliding along the floor, along the walls, heard his breathing, sometimes even some words, sometimes the whole sentence, but she was not able to reveal his identity.

In an instant, it occured to him that his wife's subconscious got involved in his scientific research, although she had never read a word from his work, nor had they ever talked about it.
