Soil
silky; cool
sheltering; embracing; covering

That's really beautiful. The diamonte form seems a perfect fit for something as elemental as the four elements and the attributes you have chosen are so evocative.
Two very minor points though: I think you forgot the last but one line for water and couldn't you slightly rearrange the earth words so that they form the diamond shape on the page that is so eye-pleasing as Pendragon wrote?

Muse, this was not only visually artistic, but was pleasing to read about the elements in this fashion. Great choice of arrangement and description. :thumbs_up
