I am going to be the tallest and most beautiful building in the land.

But I warn you,

Impatience for intrusion will plague my existence, and could damage my walls.

My construction will ultimately determine my fate, but will also hold the bricks which protect me.

My structure will offer no entrance without the proper authentication.

Piles of decayed wood and twisted metal still infest my interior.

Even while incomplete my lure attracts the eye and ear: but I am not finished.

I know everyone is wondering when that day will come.

But all I can say is “CAUTION” I am still under construction.

Don’t they know I’m doing major renovations?

Yes! I know my exterior is close to being finished but my walls aren’t even painted.

I have no carpet.

No running water.

No heat to keep one warm in the winter.

No air to keep one cool in the summer.

Many architects see me, and they have all these great ideas on what I should look like.

But they need to wait until I open my door, then they’ll see my interior and the finished product.

Caution!!! This is a hard hat area. Enter at your own risk!!

Memories of past experiences dwell in lakes of confusion.

As future memories collect in the clouds awaiting their disbursement.

Rain tempts the skies to open, but the floods are the concern of the many.

Too many lives depend on the lake as a source for reasoning their thirst.

But reasoning only created dehydrated oceans of guilt and remorse.

The soil has hidden these troubled waters for some time, but those who seek to drink from it will stop at nothing to find the source.

Evaporated lessons seep from the lake in hopes of replenishing the clouds of doubt.

But the thirst still lurks in the minds of the relentless souls.
