Photo Albums uploading error

I'm having a problem uploading pictures to my profile albums. I keep getting error messeges and cant upload messeges..
Any Ideas?

Niamh, I have given you some ideas in other threads when you commented. If you are really stumped take those somewhere like an electronic store with a technical team and they can tell you what you are doing wrong. It would be worth it to pay something not to have those photos of yours lost forever. I had to go to my local drugstore - they had photo processing - and the woman there showed me how to use my card. You see, before this I could use a serial port connection but with my new computer I had to use the card - the computer has no serial port outlet.
I am sure if you can view the photos on your camera you can retrieve them someway. At tech center you could have them burn all your photos to a DVD. I had that done with my hard drive from my old computer and it cost me only $40 for the full contents of the files.

Janine i sorted out my camera issue.I've managed to get my photos off my camera and even have some posted in Pictures taken by you thread. this is to do with uploading my photos to a photo album in my profile here on litnet. :) for some reason its failing. :) hence why i'm asking Admin.

Oh good, how did you do it? I guess I did not read this correctly. I heard that other people had this similar problems - did you ask the mods? Maybe the photo sizes are too large. Did you put them into JPG format first.

Maybe then ask a mod directly such as Nightshade; she helped me with a technical problem I was having with my blog. Also, Logos can probaby help you. When I mean file size I mean resolution and not actual size - for instance - 485KB or 200KB - not the measured size.

I also have this problem going on, so what's the big deal? I want to upload few pictures.....

I'm pretty sure it is because the pictures are too big. The error message could obviously be more instructive.

Yeah you are right. it doesnt come up in the messege that the photos are too big, but after editing in photobucket and scaling them down i can upload no problem. :)
