All men are created equal. Are they?

Everywhere I go amongst society I hear people in politicis or those who would call themselves the authority of government speak the word of equality.

What is this word equality that they so much like to use?

Everywhere I have been I've seen nothing but masses of inequality and unfairness guided by selfish instincts of individuals in the pursuit of survival.

What is equality? How and where does it exist?

I've certainly never witnessed this great equality people speak of.

equality is an ideal, something we shoot for but never truly believe we'll attain. its pragmatic though; as a foundational principle it makes governing people easier to tackle for the governing body bc in theory everyone's the same so all laws apply to everyone

Equality is a status before the law. It does not mean you are born with or earn the same equal amount.

Equality in opportunities, social status, treatment etc is impossible to provide due to different life conditions. However, the only equality that we can provide which is treating everyone the when enforcing the law is not provided. You go to a police station, a court of law or a hospital and you are faced with different treatments. Women, powerful tycoons, people of high ranks etc. are treated in a more merciful and respectful way than others.

This is the goal anyway, though in practice true equality is hard to find because those in power often break the rules in order to keep that power. It is unfortunate but at leat one of the idealistic goals of most modern governments is to prevent those in power from doing so. This of course is thwarted when the government itself is run by corrupt officials.

Sounds like a clever political bluff to me in order to fool the opposite side into folding.
